The goal of the Pembina Nordic children's learn to ski program is to introduce children to cross country skiing as a lifelong sport that can best be enjoyed once the basic skills and techniques have been mastered. Fun and games are the major component of the program, with children grouped by age and ability.
The Alberta Nordic Bunnies, Jackrabbits and Track Attack programs are volunteer run programs and we rely heavily on volunteer leaders to run each group. Training is available for parents who are committed to leading a group and we welcome your participation.
Children who participate in the program are eligible for ski equipment rental. Please note: rental equipment is not guaranteed as it is based on existing inventory and will be first come, first served on rental equipment pick up date. In the event that you have paid for rental equipment and we are unable to fulfill your request, you will receive a refund for your rental fee.
